This is an excellent site for exploring different colleges and careers. Students can narrow down their college search by indicating what they are looking for through the BIGFUTURE platform. Students can also use this site to register for the SAT.

This website allows students to compare college courses and check for transferability. (Not all colleges are in the Transferology network.)

FSA ID (PIN for FAFSA)
This is the website where seniors can apply for their Federal Student Aid I.D. (formerly FAFSA PIN). All students who plan to file their FAFSA online need to first get their FSA ID at this site. You will need 2 ID's total: one student and one parent.

FAFSA Website
This is where students and parents can complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online. This must be completed to apply for federal student aid. Many Ohio colleges have a priority filing deadline of December 1.

This site is maintained by the Mercer County Community Development Department. Their mission is to connect job seekers of all ages with local businesses.

Occupational Outlook Handbook
This site is maintained by the US Department of Labor. It contains descriptions of thousands of occupations, what they do, wages, how to get started and employment outlook.
