Welcome to Fort Recovery High School

Fort Recovery High School serves approximately 250 students in grades 9–12. We are proud of the opportunities we provide our students and of the strong school and community that make FRHS a special place to learn and grow.

At FRHS, we are committed to providing a high-quality education that meets the needs of every student while continually looking for ways to improve. Our school motto reflects that commitment:

“Better Today Than You Were Yesterday, Better Tomorrow Than You Were Today.”

Our work at FRHS is centered around three key principles: Relationships, Rigor, and Relevance. We believe meaningful learning begins with strong relationships. When students know they are supported, valued, and challenged, they are better prepared to engage in rigorous learning and understand how their education connects to their lives, goals, and futures.

We also recognize that educating students is a shared responsibility. Students are most successful when schools, families, and communities work together. Our students, parents and families, teachers, staff, administration, Board of Education, and community partners all play an important role in the success of FRHS. We are fortunate to be part of a community that values education and consistently supports our students and school.

Our goal is not simply to prepare students for graduation, but to help them develop the knowledge, skills, relationships, and experiences they need to be successful in whatever path they choose after high school.

We are proud of what is happening at Fort Recovery High School and remain committed to getting better each day. I invite you to explore our website to learn more about our school, programs, activities, and opportunities available to our students.

If you ever have questions, comments, or concerns, please feel free to contact me by phone or email.
